The FNS4NC Coalition is made up of members from the seven Feeding America North Carolina food banks. The FNS4NC Coalition wants to let people know about Food & Nutrition Services (the new name for the Food Stamp Program) so that more families can benefit from this valuable program. Food banks do important work by getting food directly to people and by working with community groups to get food to people who need it. But, we alone cannot meet the needs of the 2.2 million people in North Carolina who don’t always know where their next meal will come from or when their next meal will be. Letting people know about Food & Nutrition Services is another way we can bring more food to families and individuals in need of support.
